We're recently moved our US office from New York to San Francisco, but our new office walls are still empty - filled only with our imagination of your photos on them :)
So, we thought it would be fulfill that fantasy through a special photo contest. Submit a photo that you would like to give to us for framing and putting on our office walls. And the more photos the better! The subject is up to you: portrait, macro, scenery, still life... - the exciting diversity of images is exactly what we need! All the best photos will hung on the walls in San Francisco Fotki office and you will see the pictures of those once the decorating is finished. Please make your photo *at least* 500 x 700 pixels for better print quality. It may be a photo of your pets, your flowers, your kids - or anything at all. There is only one condition: there must be the word "Fotki" anywhere on the photo (written on anything, made of anything, held by someone - we don't know, you know better!)

Take a sharp close-up photo of a texture (animal, plant, fabric, mineral, metal, ceramic...) so as to give the illusion of an eerie landscape. The actual object need not be immediately identifiable to the viewer. We are planning to run some ads in friendly magazines, so, we thought we'd ask the people who know Fotki best, our users, to help us with the ads. You may take either color or B&W logo of any size from
this page or use your imagination - and whatever else you can think of - to create your own version. These aren't tricky, and don't require sophisticated cameras and lenses. You need a tripod and your imagination, and the sky is the limit to the fun shots you can achieve. Exposure can be from 1 second to several minutes depending on the effect you want. With a digital camera there is no cost so you can experiment to your heart’s content and submit to the contest your best photo.

This is our first attempt to have a PS contest.
Many of Fotki members have been experimenting with repairing, embellishing, distorting, decolorizing (you say what else) their photos with Photoshop (or its counterparts).
