Some of us filed complaints to Fotki on this issue. I explained in detail why I believed the images to be the same. I now see the PUNCH17 copy has been removed.

Come on guys, I'm not sure what the deal is with the other photo, it is uncannily close to this one, even though the light is different. But this photographer is always on the front page in contests, and has no need to resort to hanky panky, his results speak for themselves. Exif data reveal that this photo was taken on the 20th January 2007 with a Canon EOS 5D 1/3200 sec exposure F Stop 3.5 400 ISO Pattern metering & Aperture Priority. This photographer (I'm trying to preserve his anonymity for the purpose of fair voting) uses a Canon EOS 5D for a lot of his shots. Unfortunately there is no exif data available on the other photo.
