As the license plates say, Aruba is One Happy Island. Aruba is blessed with near-perfect weather, diverse terrain, and friendly natives. Feel the breeze on the beach, drive an ATV through the desert dunes, or enjoy the inventive Aruban cuisine and you'll leave with a smile on your face.

I visited the beautiful Caribbean island of Aruba in August 2006. Although my stay was short, it’s easy to see why it’s been nicknamed “One Happy Island”. Not only are the locals happy to see you, but go out of their way to accommodate your every need while you’re there.
