Courage Cliff at Xel-ha.
We booked our Xel-ha excursion through Lomas travel. The Lomas people had nothing but excellent things to say about Xel-ha. If you're looking for adventure or relaxation, Xel-ha has it all. Xel-ha is aproximately 20 minutes away from the Barcelo Maya Beach resort where we stayed.
When we got to Xel-ha, the courage cliff was the first adventure we headed for. The workers at Xel-ha as well as other tourists at the park, highly recommended the courage cliff.
At first glimpse of the courage cliff, I said to my husband, "this isn't that big ," but when we got to the top of the cliff and I was able to see the water below, I quickly changed my mind. The cliff seemed so much higher when you looked down from the top of the cliff. My middle name is adventure, but it did take some convincing for me to jump. I let two girls ages 7 and 10 jump before me. I said to myself, "if these two girls can do it, than so can I." I was next in line to jump, so I gathered up my courage, and I took a running leap of faith and jumped off the cliff. After the first jump, I was hooked. I went about 7 more times. I didn't want to leave. My husband kept saying, "honey there's more to see."

Ur pick brought back memories. WE have gone to mexico the last three years and cant get enough!!! Traveling through funjet is not just easy but fun ... LOL! They live up to there name and so do the hotels and travel guides that help you in planning the time that you are in Paradise. FUNJet is the way to go...... and MeXicO is the place to BE:-)
Went there in 03, still look at the pictures of Xel-ha, exploring the lagoon while snorking in the morning is awesome! The inlet to the lagoon is protected by a gate from the sea, but there is plenty of sealife to see.
