On 2/29/2008 Germantown Middle School celebrated Black History month, through a long day filled with activities. Part of it was an assembly titled "International Fair" to celebrate the diversity amongst students. this assembly started with the procession of around 25 flags and welcoming remarks in 25 different languages. This procession ended with our very own start spangled banner and the pledge of allegiance, when I took this piture of my daughter doing the pledge..
