This was an awesome project at Granite Elementary this past year. All of the students, teachers, staff, faculty, and PTA executive board designed a 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 inch square block of fabric. All 660 squares were then organized by class and sewn together, starting with the kindergarten up to 6th grade at the top. Our PTA theme this year was "Granite Grizzlies are Great” which was embroidered at the bottom with the year. The quilt was a huge success! This is a beautiful quilt that is interesting to look and and will be admired throughout the years. It will be hung in one of the hallways.
