Parents, Teachers and Principals Working Together
Focuses on activities that unite parents
and families with teachers and principals. Pictures could include
principals welcoming parents to a PTA night at school, parents
refurbishing the teachers' lounge, parents and teachers preparing and
handing out school-supply "care packages" for needy families in the
community, or principals and parents meeting with local officials to
discuss school issues.

This year at Grace Miller Elementary school our annual Walk-a-Thon was held 11-7-08 on the school campus. Among the many prizes that were given to the top pledge donors, the P.T.A. gave a prize for the top class that brought in the most pledges. This year our top winner was Mrs. Story one of our 1st grade teachers. Her class brought in over $1183.23 plus the top 8 students that brought in the most donations in Mrs. Story’s class received a Creators Touch “Achievement Award for free art/computer classes AND a class Pizza Party from Warehouse Pizza donated by the P.T.A.. She is very supportive and always eager to help with any event that goes on at Grace Miller. A Huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Story!!
