As the license plates say, Aruba is One Happy Island. Aruba is blessed with near-perfect weather, diverse terrain, and friendly natives. Feel the breeze on the beach, drive an ATV through the desert dunes, or enjoy the inventive Aruban cuisine and you'll leave with a smile on your face.

I didn't realize what a desert island looked like until I visited Aruba. There are cacti EVERYWHERE! It's an interesting contrast to all of the water that you see everywhere.
